Random things

Kev's birthday ended up being really fun (mostly for the kids). I took them to the dollar store and gave them each three dollars to pick out whatever they wanted for him. Addie got him this water game thing, a slinky, and a stuffed snake that was a dog chew toy. Koleman got him silly string, a squishy frog stress ball thing, and false teeth. Kev LOVED his presents!!! I made him chicken tacos, and Addie and I made his cake. Mike and Kallie were over at the house so we just invited them to stay and have dinner and cake with us. It was fun!
I also forgot to post about Addie's story telling festival at school. It is really cute they let whoever wants to participate. In each classroom they have the students divided and the younger grades can recite a poem or a nursery rhyme. The older students can tell a poem or a silly story, or some other things. Anyways, Addie recited Little Miss Muffet. She did awesome. She was the first one up in the group we were in, and so she was really scared, and for a minute I didn't know if she would do it, but she did and she even did cute little actions to go with it!! I was so proud of her!! She is like me and HATES to be the center of attention. They give each child a certificate. It was really cute!! I will post pictures when I can. Kev keeps our laptop at work, and right now my mom is in Pittsburgh with the new baby and her laptop, so I can't download them.
